    A 280 km Alpine Odyssey

    Wind through Italy’s UNESCO-listed Dolomites, where jagged limestone peaks, emerald valleys, and quaint Tyrolean villages create a cinematic backdrop. This route blends thrilling mountain passes, serene lakes, and cultural gems.


    Begin in Bolzano, a charming city blending Italian and Austrian influences. Fuel up and stock provisions here.

    Key Stops & Highlights

    1. Alpe di Siusi (Seiser Alm). Europe’s largest alpine meadow. Ride the cable car from Compaccio for sunrise views of the Sassolungo Group.
    2. Passo Sella. A 2,240 m pass flanked by the Sella Group. Stop at Rifugio Passo Sella for strudel and panoramic terrace photos.
    3. Passo Pordoi. Drive the SS48 to this 2,239 m pass. Ride the cable car to Pordoi Summit for 360° views of Marmolada Glacier.
    4. Cortina d’Ampezzo. The “Queen of the Dolomites.” Stroll Corso Italia, hike Cinque Torri, or ski in winter.
    5. Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Detour to Rifugio Auronzo for iconic views of the triple peaks. Hike the 10 km loop trail (allow 3–4 hours).
    6. Lago di Braies. Turquoise waters framed by cliffs. Rent a rowboat or walk the 3.5 km lakeshore trail.
    7. Val di Funes. Photograph the Santa Maddalena Church with the Odle Group peaks. Visit San Giovanni Church for sunset.
