Begin in Lindau, a medieval island town on Lake Constance. Fuel up and stroll its harbor guarded by a stone lion statue before heading east into the Alps.
Key Stops & Highlights
- Oberstaufen. A wellness retreat with rolling hills. Ride the Hündle Cable Car for panoramic views or soak in a thermal spa.
- Neuschwanstein Castle. Tour Bavaria’s most iconic castle, inspiration for Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. Hike to Marienbrücke for postcard views.
- Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Zugspitze: Ride Germany’s highest cable car to the 2,962-m summit. Partnach Gorge: Walk a dramatic 700-m ravine with waterfalls.
